Spring Craft Kits for SickKids
It all started with Jackson raising money himself to buy the supplies for his very first craft kits.
Supporting Families at SickKids
The next year, Jackson learned there was another way he could help. SickKids had a need for basic toiletry essentials for families spending long periods of time at the hospital with their children. Jackson raised money and used it to purchase shampoo, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, and other everyday necessities to donate to SickKids.
Jackson & Hannah, Together
This year, Jackson's little sister Hannah joined in, and The JHK Project became something they could do together. This year, Jackson and Hannah are raising money to create craft kits for kids at SickKids and Southlake. They’re making and selling handmade lizard keychains as one way to raise funds, with the money raised helping them buy the supplies they need to make more craft kits.
Each year has looked a little different — from craft kits, to everyday essentials for families, and now fundraising together. But the reason behind it has always stayed the same: finding simple ways to bring kindness, comfort, and happiness to kids and families during their time in hospital.
