A little creativity can make a big difference.
We raise money to buy supplies and put together individual craft kits for kids spending time in hospital. Each kit has everything needed to make one fun, creative activity — and every kit is assembled by hand, by us.
Why craft kits?
Spending time in hospital can mean being away from friends, school, and the things kids normally enjoy doing. Sometimes, having something fun and creative to do can give them something positive to focus on.
A craft gives kids something creative to focus on and something they can make themselves. We hope each kit brings a little fun to their day and reminds them that someone is thinking about them.
That’s why we make the kits. Each one is a small way for us to send a little creativity, kindness, and fun to a kid spending time in hospital.
How it works
Every year, we receive a list of craft ideas that can be made into individual kits for kids in hospital. We look through the ideas together and choose the crafts we’d like to make. How many kits we can make depends on how much money we raise and how much the supplies cost.

Kits we've made before
In our first year, Jackson made three different kinds of craft kits for children at SickKids. Each one gave kids something creative and fun to make during their time in hospital.
Worry Hearts
Ask someone you love to give your Worry Hearts a big hug, then keep them in their jar. When you’re feeling worried or nervous, take one out to squeeze or keep in your pocket — like carrying a little hug with you.
Yarn Butterflies
A colourful butterfly made with popsicle sticks, yarn, and beads that kids can use to decorate their hospital room.
Band-Aid Butterflies
A creative craft using Band-Aids, gauze, and construction paper to make colourful artwork kids can display on their hospital room walls or windows.
This year
In 2026, Jackson and Hannah are working together to create craft kits for children at both SickKids and Southlake Regional Health Centre. Each kit will include everything needed to complete one creative activity, giving kids something fun to make while they're in hospital.
